Liver, Fruit & Veg Muesli Bars
YOU WILL NEED:
1/2 metric cup (125ml) tap water
2 tablespoons (40ml) vegetable oil
extra wholemeal flour for rolling, rolling pin, baking tray &
a MIX & BAKE – Easy-Peasy! ® bone cutter
1: Mix the packet contents with the water and oil in a large bowl or the bowl of your mixing machine. Mix to form a fairly moist firm dough.
2: Transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface and with a rolling pin roll out the dough to approx. 10mm thick. Cut into the shape with your bone shaped cutter. Gather dough scraps, re-roll & cut bone shaped muesli bars again, repeating until you’ve used up all the dough.
3: Place the cut out muesli bars on a lightly greased baking tray.
4: Bake in a preheated 150°C oven for about 40 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool. For a slightly harder muesli bar turn the oven off and allow the muesli bars to cool in the oven.
Makes approx. 20 bone shaped dog muesli bars
Store in an air tight container for up to 4 weeks (or freeze).
