Donut Kit Instructions
YOU WILL NEED:
4/5 metric cup (200ml) tap water
2 tablespoons (40ml) vegetable oil
one MIX & BAKE – Easy-Peasy! ® donut cutter.
one baking tray and rolling pin.
1: combine the packet of MIX & BAKE – Easy – Peasy! ® donut mix with water & oil in a large bowl or the bowl of your mixing machine. Mix to form a firm dough adding additional plain flour or water if necessary.
2: Transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface and with a rolling pin roll out the dough to approx. 1cm thick. Cut into the donut shape with your MIX & BAKE – Easy- Peasy! ® donut cutter. Gather dough scraps, re-roll & cut again, repeating until you’ve used up all the dough.
3: Bake in a preheated 180°C oven for approx 20 minutes or until golden brown. Test by putting a skewer into a donut. If it comes out clean then the donuts are ready. Allow to cool on a wire rack.
1: Melt the strawberry & carob yoghurt in a microwave proof container & heat on the lowest setting for approx 8 minutes. Take out, stir & return to the microwave for approx 3 minutes on the lowest setting. Do the same for the strawberry yoghurt in a separate container once the vanilla has melted.
2: Dip the top of the donut into the melted vanilla or strawberry yoghurt. Sprinkle before the yoghurt sets.
3: Allow to cool.
4: Store in an air tight container for up to one week or in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
