Carob Chip Cookies
YOU WILL NEED:
2/3 metric cup (160ml) tap water
1/4 metric cup (60ml) vegetable oil
extra wholemeal flour for rolling & a baking tray
1: Mix the packet contents with the water and oil in a large bowl or the bowl of your mixing machine. Mix to form a fairly smooth firm dough.
2: Transfer the dough to a work surface. In your hands, take some of the mix & roll it into a ball to suit the size of your dog.
3: Place the balls on a lightly greased baking tray. Press down with the back of a fork to flatten them.
4: Bake in a preheated 180°C oven for about 45 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool. For a slightly harder cookie turn the oven off and allow the cookies to cool in the oven.
Makes approx. 30 medium sized cookies
Store in an air tight container for up to 4 weeks (or freeze).
